Nach über einem Monat haben die vom Oxfordshire Independent/State School Partnership es geschafft, mir mein Foto zu mailen. Über das Event habe ich ja schon berichtet, aber da hatte ich noch kein Bild.
Grinsend, dämlich, wie immer, aber wenigstens meinen Haaren hat der Fotograf etwas Farbe verliehen:
Professor David Wark, Head of Particle Physics Division at STFC's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, RAL, presents Niklas Rahmel, Bloxham School, with a certificate and book token at the laboratory on 9th December 2011. Niklas was one of 22 Oxfordshire school students nominated by their teachers for their outstanding achievement in Physics and their enthusiasm for the subject. The Oxfordshire Independent and State Schools Partnership, OISSP, The Ogden Trust and RAL collaborated together and organised the event to acknowledge enthusiasm for science, particularly physics. The aim of the scheme is to encourage and inspire young people to continue their interest in science and to provide them with the potential for future endeavours into physics.
